How to choose the best piano tutorials for beginners:

Before investing in a tutorial or course you should gauge how involved you wish to get in to the learning process. Ask yourself if you are just wanting to test the water and have a play about or you are wanting to take a more serious route and really get into a quality piano learning tutorial.

There are a number of courses available on-line that cater for the beginner and most are competent and well thought out but they do take different approaches the the methods they use for teaching you how to play the piano.

They range from the traditional teaching methods of teaching you to read music and playing the keyboard to the more radical methods of “pattern learning” by learning chords and chord progressions without learning to read any musical notations.
